With over 25 years of experience teaching English to speakers of other languages, Kellie Tompkins is passionate about language learners, cultural connections, and helping future educators. She’s taught English learners of all ages—from kids to adults—in settings ranging from public schools to refugee programs, both abroad and in the U.S. For the past 15 years, she has enjoyed training future-teachers, combining history and theory with practical strategies and fresh ideas to support their work. Kellie loves meeting people from different cultures, hearing their stories, and learning new perspectives. When she’s not busy in the classroom, she’s a proud mom to two teenagers, a nature enthusiast, and a DIY fan tackling projects around the house. Warm, approachable, and curious, Kellie is driven by a love of learning, connecting, and helping others grow.
