Our journey begins in La Candelaria, the vibrant historic heart of Bogotá—the perfect place to begin your language immersion in Colombia.
Spanish teachers will attend classes each morning at the Instituto Caro y Cuervo, where language, pedagogy, and culture come together in dynamic, hands-on sessions. Meanwhile, cultural explorers will set off on curated city adventures—wandering markets, discovering local legends, and getting to know Bogotá through its food, art, and people.
In the afternoons and evenings, we come together to share the magic of the city:

- Visits to must-see sites such as Monserrate, Museo del Oro, and Museo Botero.

Coffee-Region Immersion: Nature, Flavor & Connection
This part of your language immersion Colombia experience is all about slowing down, connecting deeply, and practicing Spanish in real, joyful ways.In the lush hills of Colombia’s coffee region, we will stay at a traditional finca, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and warm hospitality. Each day offers opportunities to connect with local culture and language through hands-on, joyful experiences.
You’ll visit working coffee farms, learn directly from local growers, and witness the full bean-to-cup process. We’ll also enjoy live food demonstrations showcasing regional dishes—and of course, taste them!
In the evenings, the group will come together to play traditional Colombian games, share stories, and practice Spanish in a relaxed and playful setting.

Mornings and afternoons offer a blend of beach time and cultural exploration. You’ll visit iconic sites, walk the city’s storied walls, and relax on sun-warmed beaches with the sea just steps away. We’ll take part in workshops on local rhythms and dances, learning from talented musicians and culture-bearers who share their traditions with joy.
Throughout the stay, you’ll also meet and create with local artisans, discovering their craft and stories. Evenings are filled with music, conversation, and a strong sense of connection—among participants, and with Cartagena itself.

Yes—roundtrip airfare from NYC is included if you book by May 31. You also have the option to book your own flight independently.
2 credits are included. To upgrade to 4 credits, select that option during registration and complete a brief hybrid project after the trip.
