Sandra earned a Bachelor’s in Spanish, English, and French at the Universidad de la Salle and a Master’s in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign and Second Language from the Instituto Caro y Cuervo. She taught Spanish and English at the technical high school Jaime Pardo Leal. She is a leader in the PILEO Project (Proyecto de Lectura, Escritura y Oralidad), offers extensive experience in teaching Spanish as a native language, and conducts research in the formative and authentic evaluation processes for teaching Spanish.
